He is survived by: his wife Mercia Bolsoni (Coelho); his daughters, Neuza Pereira (Carlos) of Brazil and Rubyan Stutzman (Brad) of Shippensburg; his grandchildren, Isabela, Kailah, Tabita (Francismar) and Carlos-Alencar; and his great grandchildren, Agata and Eloa. He is also survived by three brothers, and two sisters.
