Norma Jean Karper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Karper (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce W. Hockersmith and Fredyth I. Hockersmith (Swartz); her son Bruce Andrew Karper; and her siblings, June Martin, John Allan Hockersmith and J. Lee Hockersmith.
She is survived by: her daughter Joni L. Updegraff (Jeffrey R.) of Camp Hill; her grandsons, Jason A. Updegraff (Jillian R.) of Maple Valley and Joshua A. Updegraff of Camp Hill; her great grandchildren, Jordyn G. and Jesse C. Updegraff; and her brother Bruce Hockersmith (Janice) of Shippensburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
