She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Jones and Emma Weaver Jones Rice; her husband James Herman Staver, Jr.; and her sisters, Joan Ryder, Jane Wilson and Grace Weaver.
She is survived by: her sons, James H. Staver, III (Stacy) and Kenneth R. Staver (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Shannon, Leah, Janelle, James H. Staver IV and Erick Staver; and her sister Pat Bowman of Dublin, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
