He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Vaughn and Margaret Vaughn (Weaver); his children, Merle Edward Vaughn and Mary Ethel Cramer; his granddaughter Angela M. Defenderfer; and his son-in-law Jerry Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Mary I. Barrick; his children, Cheryl Bard (Donald) of Fayetteville, Karen Cummings of Shippensburg and Keith Vaughn (Wendy Gross) of Shippensburg; and his son-in-law Barry Cramer of St. Thomas. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; many great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grane Hospice.
