Merle A. Rotz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merle A. Rotz (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin J. Rotz and Lillian B. Rotz (Helm); and his sister Gloria J. Cassidy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sherry Rotz-Smith of Shippensburg, Sheila Riley (Delbert) of Harrisburg, Yvette Piccolo (Edward) of Carlisle, Merle, Marlene and Keith; his grandchildren, Seth Smith, Wynter Smith, Sean Piccolo (Amanda), Trustin Riley, Shannon Piccolo and Elisha Riley; and his brother Richard G. Rotz of Shippensburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. (112 W King St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens (1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013).
