It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie H. Shoap of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence J. Hopkins and Margaret E. Hopkins (Gaunter); her husband L. Gerald Shoap; her stepmother Ethel Hopkins (Spangler); and her brother Kenneth Hopkins.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald E. "Jerry" Shoap (Janice) of Sunset Beach, NC and Jo Ellen Koser (Frank) of Shippensburg; her grandchildren, CJ Ezell (Lynn Witmer), Melissa Mader (Bryan), Jeremy Shoap and Jordan Shoap (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Paige Ezell, Aizik Shoap, Grayson Shoap, Carter Mader, Blake Shoap, Reece Mader and Lillian Shoap. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shippensburg First Church of God (121 E King St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery (114 N Morris St, Shippensburg, PA 17257).
