He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln S. Fogelsanger and Mary Fogelsanger (Bixler); his son Mark Fogelsanger; and his brother John Fogelsanger. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fogelsanger (Shive); his sons, Allen L. Fogelsanger of Brooklyn, NY and Todd Fogelsanger (Pamela) of Carlisle; and his grandsons, Nathan and Joshua Fogelsanger.
