He was predeceased by: his parents, Lehman Baer and Hilda Reynolds Baer; and his siblings, Kenneth, Richard Baer and Martha Ann Showalter.
He is survived by: his wife LuAnn M. Strite Baer; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Bryce, Amber, Bailey, David, Owen, Allie, Hudson and John. He is also survived by married on June 9, 1984; four children.
