She is survived by: her husband G. Alan Shope; her daughter Miliani Foschia-Shope of Shippensburg; her grandson McKane Coldsmith of Shippensburg; and her brother Alvin Martin, Jr. (Kelly) of Wilmington, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any organization that helps people deal with pancreatic cancer.
