John F. Hockenberry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F. Hockenberry (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), born in Newburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2020 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John F. Hockenberry to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F., Sr. and Carrie Hockenberry (Henderson); his wife Violet M. Hockenberry (Lynch); his son Ronald Hockenberry; his grandson Tyler Hockenberry; and his siblings, Anna Gipe, Margaret Varner, Leroy and Harry Hockenberry.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry D. Hockenberry (Sharon) of Shippensburg and Jack E. Hockenberry (Sandy) of Shippensburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
