He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Ottie Swartz, Sr. (McManus); and his siblings, Michael Swartz, Sr., John Swartz, Douglas Swartz, Sr. and Sharon Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Swartz of Lancaster, Candace Snyder (Jason) of St. Thomas, Lea Ann Freet-Crider (Michael) of Indiana and Larry Freet (Angie) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Aurora, Austin, Sarah, Michelle, Thomas Jr., Ethan, Jonathon, Michael Jr., Kassandra, Corey and Jesime; his stepmother Donna Swartz; and his siblings, Max Swartz, Jr., Sam Swartz, Tim Swartz, Billy Swartz and Wendy Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
