He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Ottie Swartz, Sr. (McManus); and his siblings, Michael Swartz, Sr., John Swartz, Douglas Swartz, Sr. and Sharon Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Swartz of Lancaster, Candace Snyder (Jason) of St. Thomas, Lea Ann Freet-Crider (Michael) of Indiana and Larry Freet (Angie) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Aurora, Austin, Sarah, Michelle, Thomas Jr., Ethan, Jonathon, Michael Jr., Kassandra, Corey and Jesime; his stepmother Donna Swartz; and his siblings, Max Swartz, Jr., Sam Swartz, Tim Swartz, Billy Swartz and Wendy Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. (112 W King St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Upper Path Valley Cemetery.
