He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hockenberry and Violet M. Lynch Hockenberry; his wife Sandra Kay Hershey Hockenberry; and his brother Ronald Hockenberry (Tater). He is survived by: his son John T. Hockenberry; his grandchildren, Nicole M. Zabrucky and Sean A. Zabrucky; his great grandchildren, Alyza and Payton; and his brother Larry D. Hockenberry (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
