He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Hoover and Barbara B. Martin Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Mary R. Eberly Hoover; his children, Arlene Martin (Allen) of Shippensburg, Jane Nolt (Ivan) of Shippensburg, Esther Martin (Reuben) of Shippensburg, Anna Mary Hoover of Shippensburg, Susan Martin (Eldon) of Shippensburg, James Hoover (Jane) of Shippensburg, Eva Shirk (Timothy) of Shippensburg and Ivan Eugene Hoover of Shippensburg; his sisters, Fannie of New Holland and Eva of New Holland; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Hoover, Jean Hoover and Ella Rissler of Dorchester, WI. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
