It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Showaker (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Karper and Frances Karper (Killinger); and her husband Leroy "Ted" E. Showaker. She is survived by: her children, Edgar L. Showaker of Newville, Barbara D. Egolf of Shippensburg, Doris J. Showaker of Shippensburg, Deborah K. Felix (Bennett) of Newville and Cynthia L. Ott (Dennis) of Newville; her grandchildren, Stacy L. Miles (Duane) of Addison, NY, Bradley L. Varner (Mollie) of Newville, Brian E. Varner (Robin) of Goldsboro, NC, Miranda S. Fisher of Shippensburg and Madison S. Fisher of Newville; her great grandchildren, Erica N. Kirby, Tyler W. Kirby, Erynn M. Varner, Nathann B. L. Varner and Noah G. Varner; and her great great grandchildren, Ryker C. McDowell and Oaklin C. McDowell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Those in attendance are asked to observe the recommendations pertaining to reducing the potential spread of Covid-19; wearing masks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing as much as is possible.
