Hazel Mooney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Mooney (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel E. Gilbert and Nellie G. Gossert Gilbert; her husband Floyd L. Mooney; her children, Ronald E. Mooney and Betty Helm; and her siblings, Barbara Baer, Herman, Robert, Richard and Alfred Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Mooney (Shirley) of Shippensburg, John Mooney (Donna) of Gettysburg, Walter Mooney (Ruth Ann) of Shippensburg, Bruce Mooney (Gretchen) of Shippensburg, Jane Pitzer (Phil) of Fayetteville, Barbara Kiser of Chambersburg, Mary Mooney of Shippensburg, Nancy Martin of Shippensburg, Bonnie Watt of Shippensburg and Connie Faust (Terry) of Shippensburg. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Sunday evening, August 16, 2020 from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Those in attendance are asked to observe the recommendations pertaining to reducing the potential spread of Covid-19; wearing masks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing as much as possible.
