He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair L. Art and Nellie A. Van Art (Williams); his wife Judith Ann Van Art (Horn); and his siblings, Clair W. Van Art and Phyllis L. North.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Evans (Mike) of The Villages, FL, Ronald G. Van Art of Shippensburg, Diana R. Holtry (Barry) of Shippensburg and Roger L. Van Art of Hendersonville, NC; his grandchildren, T. Brian Chamberlin, Matthew G. Van Art (Benoit), Nathan J. Van Art, Caitlin R. Sieg (Tyler) and Heather R. Holtry; and his great grandchildren, Oceana Chamberlin-Martinez, Seanna Chamberlin, Miriam, Evelyn, Charlie Sieg and Niles Van Art-Nedlec. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
