He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Vaughn and Rhoda M. Cramer Vaughn; his son Thomas E (Vaughn); and his siblings, Raymond, Carl, Victor, Donald, Kenneth Vaughn, Alberta Long, Helen Clippinger, Ethel Monismith, Betty Paxton Mackling and Isabelle Halter.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Gettel Vaughn; his sons, James C. Vaughn and Timothy L. Vaughn (LeAnn); and his siblings, Robert C. Vaughn, Esther Nelson, Pauline Rotz, Ardella Snouffer of Vineland, NJ and Martha Myers of Thurmont, MD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
