With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George H. Barner Jr. (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H., Sr. and Katherine Barner (Fitzgerald); and his brother Larry Barner. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Barner (Alleman) of Shippensburg; his children, Linda Shoemaker (Robert) of Shippensburg, Kathy Myers of Shippensburg, Barbara Barner of Shippensburg, Paul Barner (Eunice) of Shippensburg and Gary Barner (Patricia) of Shippensburg; and his siblings, Betty Bernard of Carlisle and John Barner of Shippensburg. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
