It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galen Hockenberry of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 19, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Hockenberry and Nellie C. Strayer Hockenberry; and his siblings, Helen A. Heckman, Vonnie Hockenberry and William Hockenberry.
He is survived by: his wife F. Hockenberry (Line) of Virginia; his daughters, Virginia L. Coover (Steve) and Christianna G. Alleman (Brian); his grandchildren, Jared M. Coover (Courtney) and Alexis N. Coover; his great grandchildren, Kellan of Shippensburg and Asher of Shippensburg; and his siblings, Hazel Garman of Carlisle, Esther Failor of Carlisle, Jeanette Adams of Carlisle, Linda Varner of Shippensburg, Garry Hockenberry (Pat) of Amberson, Donald Hockenberry of Shippensburg and Freddie Hockenberry (Brenda) of Shippensburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
