It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Louise Burkholder (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin "Hawk" Henry Hockley and Goldie Mae Hockley of Toland, PA.; her brother Melvin Hockley; her significant other Ronald G. Burkholder; and her stepson Craig A. Burkholder.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel L. Fearnbaugh of Newville, Tammy S. J. Parthemore (Michael) of Middletown, DE and John J. Fearnbaugh of Carlisle; her stepdaughter Ronda Swineheart (Dave) of Palmyra; her grandchildren, Dalton Fearnbaugh, Garrett Parthemore, Alexis Fearnbaugh, James Fearnbaugh, Bryce Fearnbaugh and Alivia Fearnbaugh; her sisters, Rose Ann Jones (Harold) of Carlisle and Jean Hess (Larry) of Gardners; and her sisters-in-law, Diana Jumper of Newville and Connie Tichnell (Bob) of Newville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brandt's Church at 8003 Brandt's Church Rd, St Thomas, PA 17252. In lieu of flowers, we are planting a tree in loving memory of your mother.
