It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Miller of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald N. Miller and Edith Miller (Reohr); and his brother Duane Miller. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo Miller (Kegris); his children, Krista Miller Ober (Shawn) of Lititz and Donnie Miller (Meghan); his grandchildren, Lauryn, Jenna Ober of Lititz, Gavin and Landon Miller of Chambersburg; his brothers, Dennis Miller (Lynn) of Harrisburg and Darrell Miller (Ninette) of Harrisburg; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Miller of Florida, Robert L. Kegris, Jr. of Harrisburg and David Kegris (Diana) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Face masks will be required at all indoor facilities at Shippensburg University.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shippensburg University Foundation, 500 Newburg Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257. In the memo line please write SU Foundation/Donnie Miller Swimming Scholarship.

“I was very sad to hear the news of Coach Miller's passing this week. My prayers go out to Linda, Krista, Donnie Jr., and the rest of the family. It is hard to imagine the number of lives that he positively impacted over his many years of coaching. I always felt very blessed to be a part of his team. He was an amazing role model as a father and an inspirational coach. He will be missed, but his legacy will continue to live on. -Mark Brockway”
