He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Keiter and Marie E. Keiter (Rhoades); and his brother Marlin Keiter. He is survived by: his wife Belinda J. "Lynn" Keiter (Foster); his children, Scott Keiter (Allison) of Venice, FL and Sue Keiter (Kevin Fogle) of Shippensburg; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Noah, Silas, Joseph, Brandi and Bailey. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
