He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell and Florence Kaufmann (Beauchamp); his brother Robert J. Kaufmann; and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kaufmann. He is survived by: his children, Donald R. Kaufmann of Shippensburg, Edward W. Kaufmann (Carline) of Shippensburg, Kenneth C. Kauffman of Shippensburg, Deborah A. Simmons (Ken) of Camp Hill and Theresa H. Gutshall (Eric) of Chambersburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
