It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Jane Hardy of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Delores Jane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Delores Jane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Delores Jane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Mull and Edna Mull (Straining); and her husband Lamont R. Hardy, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Paula R. Ocker (Timothy) of Shippensburg and Lamont R. Hardy, Jr. (Julie) of Shippensburg; her grandchildren, Jacob R., Trey M. and Anna G. Hardy of Shippensburg; and her siblings, Gary Mull of Harrisburg, Shirley Little of Newport, Josephine Wennell of Mechanicsburg and Sandy Ritter of Mechanicsburg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Spring Hill Cemetery (114 N Morris St, Shippensburg, PA 17257).
