It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana L. Peterson of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ardella Peterson and Helm; his wife Mary; his daughter Sharon I. Askey (Paul) of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Elisabeth Drahota (Nathan) of Washington State, Sara Ackerson of Mt. Holly Springs and Benjamin Askey (Samantha) of Shippensburg; and his siblings, Ross "June", Glenn Peterson and Zelda "Tootie" Lloyd. He was also cherished by eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
