She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Thomas and Madeline Thomas (Gelsinger). She is survived by: her children, Walter "Fuzz" Gehrett (Linda) of Newville, William Gehrett (Peggy) of Shippensburg and Debbie Filler (Larry) of Enola. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
