She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Cortright and Effie Strand Cortright; her siblings, Kenneth, Homer Cortright and Donna Poyner; her husband David Chris Horneys; her son John; and her grandsons, David R. Horneys, Jonathan (Callie), Benjamin Horneys and Elliot Horneys.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Poyner; her daughter Jill Horneys Roach Brown; her daughter-in-law Wendy Foster Horneys; her granddaughters, Christina Roach Thompson Thompson (Glen), Jessica Caroline Roach and Bethany Horneys McGuire (Jason); her great grandchildren, Selah Morgan Thompson, Paisley Horneys and Oaklyn Horneys; and also Linda Poyner Kohn.
