He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Albert and Catherine Elizabeth Sites Durf; his wife L. Brenda Kline Durf; and his brothers, George, Paul and Ellis Durf.
He is survived by: his son Carl W. Durf, Jr. (Kelly); his stepchildren, Gregory K. Swartz and Karen L. Kline; and his siblings, Donald, Bruce Durf and Darlene Barrick of Newville. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
