She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hoch and Edna Hoch (Holtry); her husband James W. Shoemaker, Jr.; her grandson Michael Shoemaker; and her brothers, Paul L., Richard L., Jeffrey E. and Lester C. Hoch.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Shoemaker, III of Chambersburg, Randy L. Shoemaker of Shippensburg, Ricky B. Shoemaker of Shippensburg and Dawn M. Shoemaker of Shippensburg; and her siblings, Vera M. Jones of Tennessee, Ruthann Hockenberry of Shippensburg, William L. Hoch of Newburg, Carol J. Stoner of Chambersburg, Ronald L. Hoch of Shippensburg and Robert W. Hoch of Newburg. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. (112 W King St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens (1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013).
