She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mellinger and Emma Mellinger (Hostetter); her husband Walter W. Grove of Shippensburg; and her siblings, Mary Gish, John Mellinger, Alvin Mellinger, Dorothy Byers and Esther Musser.
She is survived by: her children, Dena Stoner (Floyd) of Alexandria, VA, Carol Hoffman (David) of Chambersburg, Jay Grove (Peggy) of Newville, Jeffry Grove (Linda) of Shippensburg and Colleen Savelkouls (Rien); and her brothers, Glenn Mellinger (Kathy) of Mount Joy and Harold Mellinger (Nancy) of Mount Joy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
