Grove of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 104, on October 19, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mellinger and Emma Mellinger (Hostetter); her husband Walter W. Grove of Shippensburg; and her siblings, Mary Gish, John Mellinger, Alvin Mellinger, Dorothy Byers and Esther Musser.
She is survived by: her children, Dena Stoner (Floyd) of Alexandria, VA, Carol Hoffman (David) of Chambersburg, Jay Grove (Peggy) of Newville, Jeffry Grove (Linda) of Shippensburg and Colleen Savelkouls (Rien); and her brothers, Glenn Mellinger (Kathy) of Mount Joy and Harold Mellinger (Nancy) of Mount Joy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (51 Asper Dr, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
