She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Paxton and Ruth Paxton (Stouffer); her husband John E. Diehl; her great grandchild Haze Martin; and her sisters, Janet Perry and Betty Highlands.
She is survived by: her children, John E. Diehl, Jr. (Lynne) of Chambersburg, Timothy R. Diehl (Christine) of Shippensburg and Karen S. Evans (Tom) of Summerfield, FL; her grandchildren, Jamie Snyder, Kristen Howson, Erin Evans, Joshua Diehl, Ellen Martin, Gretchen Horrocks and Chase Diehl; her great grandchildren, Ilsa Diehl, Emerie Snyder, Leeland Martin, Nora Howson and Tenley Diehl; her grandson Horrocks; and her sisters, Joan Wolfgang of Chambersburg and Winnie Reed of Fayetteville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
