With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Gene Leedy of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry David and Edith Eloise Whorley Leedy; and his siblings, Stoey Leedy and Kelly Izer. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jean McNew Leedy; his children, Tammy Jo Patterson (Jason) and Tony Alan Leedy; his grandchildren, Colby, Britton, Courtney, Riley, Michael and Zoey; his great grandchildren, Chase, Arianna, Haven, Layken, Remi and Hadley Jo; and his siblings, Kim Hissong (Greg) and Harry Leedy (Judy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grand Point Church (2230 Grand Point Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Point Church Youth Missions, 2230 Grand Point Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
