He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Steffey Sr. and Leona K. (Heagy); his wife Marcia (Friel); and his siblings, James F. Steffy Jr. and Annabelle M. Kramer.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberlee S. Stricker (Jeffrey) of Mohnton; his granddaughter Kara Leigh Kusy (Michael) of Honey Brook; and his great grandchild Waylon.
