It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Dolores Heckman (Shillington, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Stief and Walter Stief; and her husbands, G. Phillip Seiders and Bob Heckman. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Durkee of Media, PA, Barry Seiders (Ruthanne) of Exeter, PA, R. G. Heckman of Las Vegas, NV, Beverly Wert (Gerald) of Mohnton, PA and Debbie Brightbill (Frederick) of Sinking Spring, PA.; and her grandchildren, Jason Seiders (Amanda Behrle), Joshua Seiders (Brooke), Aaron Durkee (Michele), Kelly Kaleida (Derek), Heidi Krenitsky (Timothy), Scott Wert (Allison) and Laura Shober (Bryan). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bean Funeral Home (129 E Lancaster Ave, Shillington, PA 19607). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in Shirley's memory.
