She was predeceased by: her husband Harold D. Freese, Jr.; and her brother Richard Walton. She is survived by: her children, Barry W. Brown (Deidre Brown) of Mohnton, Linda J. Allend (Thomas E. Allend) of Muhlenberg Townhip and Christine L. Kantner (late James F. Kantner) of Reading; and her stepchildren, Michael J. Freese (Eileen Jacob) of Erwinna, PA, Christopher L. Freese (Dawn Freese) of Sinking Spring, Thomas S. Freese (Donna Freese) of Leesport and Patricia A. Wert of Lancaster. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mrs. Margaret W. Freese.
