With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Brown Jr. (Shillington, Pennsylvania), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 20, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John E., Sr. and Mary E. Brown (Gemmill); and his brothers, Richard and James Brown. He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Brown (Helbig); and his son John E., III.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Red Cross, 701 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601.
