He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bennethum and Leona Bennethum (Seisler); and his siblings, William G. Bennethum and Rosemary Brown. He is survived by: his wife Alice Bennethum (Oxenreider); his children, George W. Bennethum (Karen) of Wernersville, Philip M. Bennethum Sr. (Diane) of Shillington and Thomas M. Bennethum of Grill; his grandchildren, Philip Jr. (Katie), Paul (Kara) and Samantha (Chandler); and his great grandchildren, Philip III (Helena), Luke, Brynn, Jack, Eric, George, Maggie and Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Salle Roman Catholic Church (42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, PA 19607). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Baptist (42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, PA 19607). A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gethsemane Cemetery (3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605).
