She was predeceased by: her husband Frank S. Kakos; her parents, Thomas J. Calpin and Catherine E. Calpin (Dougherty); her daughter Jeanne Kakos; and her siblings, Reverend Thomas J. Calpin and Mary Christine Meier.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Kakos and Frank J. (Carolina Kakos); her grandson Frank L. Kakos; and her child Temple University.
