He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace "Monk" Welch and Maryann Welch (Meeker). He is survived by: his significant other Marge Cotterman; and his siblings, Valerie Firth (Colin), Dale Welch (Wendy) of Shickshinny Valley and Vaughn Welch (Terri) of Shickshinny Valley. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews, 8 stepchildren, 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren.
