William Volkel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Volkel (Shickshinny, Pennsylvania), born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Volkel and Elsie Volkel (Katzmann); his wife Dorothy Lipka; and his brothers, Robert, Carl and Doran.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Linda) and Barry (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Derek (Meghan Barry) and Shea; and his close friend Fran Dierolf.
Due to the current restrictions, there will be specific protocols in place, including a requirement to wear a mask if you are planning to attend.
