With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Flaherty of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 53. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Flaherty and Mary Ann Flaherty (Krolick); his brothers, Sgt. Robert Flaherty and John Flaherty; and his nephew Daniel Sleva.
He is survived by: his wife Lorie Anne Flaherty (Penson) of Minerville; his children, Jonathan Springer of Pottsville, Cordell J. Flaherty of Minersville and Kelly Anne Flaherty of Minersvillle; his siblings, Thomas Flaherty (Judy) of Delano, Michael of McAdoo, Stephen Flaherty (Stacey) of Mayfield, Veronica Williams (Russell) of Mahanoy City, Patricia Sleva (Daniel) of Morea, Susan Suglia (Gustavo) of Lancaster and Kathleen Donmoyer (Rodney) of Tower City; and his nephew Cousings.
