With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victoria Kmetz of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Grochmal and Stella Ropieski; and her siblings, Stanley Ropieski and Dorothy Swetnar. She is survived by: her husband George J. Kmetz; her daughter Melissa Posluszny (David) of Shickshinny Lake; her granddaughter Abbie Posluszny; and her sister Irene Mikulka of West Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made to the Luzerne County SPCA or an animal charity of the donor's choice.
