She is survived by: her husband George Hmelak; her sons, Mark Hmelak (Mary) of Berwick and Thomas Hmelak of Pittston; her siblings, Michael Steeber (Pat) of Shickshinny, Andrew Steeber (Sharon) of Mocanaqua, Leonard Steeber of Shickshinny and Irene Lukashewski (Joe) of Wapwallopen; her sisters-in-law, Connie Steber of Arizona and Barbara Kubasek (Thomas) of Mocanaqua; her grandchildren, Joshua Hmelak (Brittany) of Pottstown, Justin Hmelak of Danville and Crysta Pierce (Jared) of Berwick; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Hmelak, Waylon Hmelak and Everly Pierce.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (130 Rectory Rd, Mocanaqua, PA 18655).
