It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph John Eddy of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Eddy and Viola Eddy (Wallace); and his sister Irene Pahler. He is survived by: his fiancé Kim Hazlak; his sons, Josh Eddy (Allison) of Wilkes-Barre and Justin Eddy (Beth Ann) of Hunlock Creek; his daughter-in-law Linda Rockel of Bendertown; his siblings, Georgianna Reese-Gebhardt (Jack) of Dallas, Arthur Eddy Jr. of Wilkes-Barre, Clarence Eddy of Wilkes-Barre, Kathy Eddy of Nanticoke and Bertha Smith (Dale) of Hanover Township; his grandsons, Justin Eddy, Zachary Davies and Austin Eddy; and his pet Roxy.
