We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2019, at the age of 104, Catherine Elizabeth (Kratzer) Monchak (Shickshinny, Pennsylvania), born in Larksville, Pennsylvania passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kratzer and Pauline Kratzer; her husband Steven Andrew Monchak; and her siblings, Mary Olowiany, Elizabeth Debold, Andrew, Peter and Joseph Kratzer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Paulette Monchak of Shickshinny and Bernadette Monchak-Barski of Allentown; her son-in-law Michael Barski; and her granddaughter Lydia Barski. She is also survived by her daughters and close friends.
