It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda D. Michael-Shimmel of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Michael and Mary Michael (Dieter); and her husband Jerome K. Shimmel. She is survived by: her son Kelley Michael (Jennifer) of Jermyn, PA; her sisters, Karen Michael-Shea of Danielsville, PA, Audrey Michael of Orefield, PA, Roberta Trexler of Easton, PA. and Mary Ann Gaumer of Easton, PA.; and her grandchildren, Hunter and Avery Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
