It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda D. Michael-Shimmel of Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Michael and Mary Michael (Dieter); and her husband Jerome K. Shimmel. She is survived by: her son Kelley Michael (Jennifer) of Jermyn, PA; her sisters, Karen Michael-Shea of Danielsville, PA, Audrey Michael of Orefield, PA, Roberta Trexler of Easton, PA. and Mary Ann Gaumer of Easton, PA.; and her grandchildren, Hunter and Avery Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
