He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Simmons and Irene Louise Simmons (Lapman); and his sisters, Linda Coffin and Dorothy DuBois. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Grab; his sons, Jason Simmons (Sandy Tang) of Brooklyn, NY and Luca Piras of Sardinia, Italy; his granddaughter Samantha; and his sister Peggy Ward of Port Royal, S. C.
