He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thumma and Evelyn Thumma. He is survived by: his wife Doris Hull-Thumma of Shermans Dale; his stepdaughters, Anita Dukes of Dillsburg, Teresa Adams of Franklintown and Valerie Perko of Shermans Dale; his brothers, John Thumma (Donna) of Colorado and Harold Thumma (Yvonne) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Katelyn Shields (Bryan) of Shippensburg and Benjamin Hoerner (Kailtlyn) of Mt. Holly Springs; his great grandchild Emma Hoerner; his daughter Dianna Hoerner; his foster daughter Joyce Miller; and his sister Arlene Shuler.
