He is survived by: his grandchild Ashley Shaffer-Bower (Kyle) of Millersburg, PA; his daughters, Courtney Shaffer-Wolfe (Gabriel) of Honolulu, Hawaii and Ricki Jo Lear of Middletown, PA; his great grandchildren, Claire Ann Bower and Bennett Decker Bower; his brother Terry E. Benner (Lisa) of Halifax, PA; and his sister-in-law Stephanie L. Benner (Gary) of Elliottsburg, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
