With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald C Shirk of Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania, born in Thompsontown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Lee Shirk and Vertie Shirk (Cameron); his son Craig D. Shirk; and his sister Betty Shirk Sausman Francis. He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Flickinger Shirk; his son Todd C. Shirk (Christine) of Shermans Dale; his granddaughters, Katlin J. and Kendal M.; and his great grandchild Violet.
